Yearbook Spread Ideas October 21, 2010

I Maddy will be creating a page for the yearbook with the title “Candy”. This page will include seven images which will reflect the excitement of halloween and how much the students get into it by dressing up and decorating. I will set up these photos and direct my friends after school to illustrate such events as shopping for costumes and candy, making costumes and decorating their houses. I will use my friends Celine and Kyra and will photograph these situations with them and with their consent. I plan to have these images by Tuesday.

Rule of Thirds, October 6, 2010

The purpose of Rule of Thirds is to strengthen the concept of composition and begin to develop a more complex composition that will support the narrative possibilities of the photograph.
To start I used the photoshop protocols such as Levels, Color Correction and Contrast Check. Next I used the Rectangle Tool to make four lines on the picture, two vertical and two horizontal, to show the point of interests in the intersections of the lines.
